Why was the casting of Ncuti Gatwa a significant moment in the history of Doctor Who?

I think that the scene where they travel back 150 million years is the most exciting, as the audience is left on a cliffhanger, they want to know what happens when she leaves, and whats out there.


How is this scene constructed to tell the audience the history of Doctor Who? Think about the script, camerawork and acting.


Its very captivating and engaging.
